What we're doing...
Good afternoon everyone! I hope that you are having a blessed day! I just wanted to remind students and update parents about a few assignments. Apparently STI Home's homework section is experiencing a few problems, so if you can't see that section...it isn't just you! The tech department at Jefcoed is working to remedy the problem, so hopefully that will be up and running in a few days. However, the grades section is working properly. Here are a few things that students should have completed or brought home:
1. The Team Two Times: Team 2 newsletter; we are going to print this at least once per 9 weeks
2. Students should be studying their 50 states for our mapping skills test on Aug. 29th. Students will have to label all 50 states. AP students will have to label states and capitals.
3. Students have had 5 assignments for SS so far (all CW and HW): coloring states map, textbook scavenger hunt, labeling states map, labeling continents map and mapping skills vocabulary (9 words). Each of these assignments is worth 25 points.
School Wide Announcements:
Monday, Sept. 8th is School Picture Day!!!! These are the pictures that will be in the yearbook...and it's a Monday!! So remember!!!!
Don't forget Labor Day is Monday Sept. 1st and we are OUT OF SCHOOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
